I've been trying to track that with Wireshark, I noticed that source port for TCP Tor connections is 9666. Deluge 2.0 packages are not yet available, please see docs XP, Vista, 7 - 10 Apple macOS. Deluge is working good without that configuration. Then I launched Deluge, Edit -> Preferences, and for each field (Peer, Web seeds, Tracker and DHT) Sockv5, 127.0.0.1, port 9050 and restart Deluge.īut doesn't work at all.

I got that, tor browser running with all ok. Even though that, I'm struggling to get it working but currently I cant.īased on what I read, to get it work, first all I have to run Tor browser and successful initiate it. I've read that I shouldn't do that for several reasons (and take a look to the alternatives and probably an affordable seedbox will be the best option).

I ran more tests with every leak tester i could find and had no DNS or other leaks, i also did a restart while doing a torrent leak test and it also seemed to be good.I know we already talked about this, but the Q&A I found here and googling doesn't suit my issue.

I disabled Deluge from the startup, and instead I created a task in task scheduler to start Deluge 10 Minutes after the pc turned on. 'Skip checking torrent data' option Post by asmageddon Tue 7:00 pm Due to power failures often happening lately due to bad weather, me forgetting to mount drive on which files are located, I constantly need to re-check my torrents, and as I have a slow HDD and am seeding a lot of torrents, this takes multiple hours and due to. My final thought is the fact that I'm running the plexserver, i had to use this fix and maybe that's causing the issue, but Im not really sure it would be the cause.ĮDIT: Thank you all for you suggestions, it seems my second thought was correct and what was happening was that deluge would start almost instantly, and PIA would lag about 7 minutes behind. I've been trying to track that with Wireshark, I noticed that source port for TCP Tor connections is 9666. I'm thinking that maybe the deluge client starts before pia, and in those few minutes,( or seconds, i don't know how much of a delay there is) that's enough time for my IP leak. Deluge is working good without that configuration. I have a decent connection (around 100Mb/s down and 10Mb/s up), but a (really) crappy modem/router. I'm seeding a little more than a TB of data, in 180+ torrents, including rare ones, and I'd like it to stay so. I use it as a Plex server and like it to restart because it runs non stop and it's not really built to work 24/7. I recently moved from deluge to QBT, migrated everything, and all is fine. My second thought is that i have the pia computer restart about every 3 days. My first thought is that i am using the deluge webclient plug-in so that i can throw on a new torrent from any computer or mobile device, but in the end it's downloading on the pia computer so that would mean I'm getting warnings for looking at torrent sites, i always use magnet urls to add on the web client. I got 3 ideas of what's might be going on but was wondering if there's something im missing. I did a leak test then and it seemed all good. After the one from 2 months ago, i made sure i had DNS protection on and got the Killswitch working. It has various user interfaces available such as the GTK-UI, Web-UI and a Console-UI. I got a warning today from my ISP, the last one i got was about 2 months ago, and before that i haven't got one for over a year or two. deluge-torrent/deluge, Deluge is a BitTorrent client that utilizes a daemon/client model.
